Wise Woman’s B-Complex
Our vitamin B complex is composed of eight B vitamins–
- B-1 (thiamine)
- B-2 (riboflavin)
- B-3 (niacin)
- B-5 (pantothenic acid)
- B-6 (pyridoxine)
- B-7 (biotin)
- B-9 (folic acid)
- B-12 (cobalamin)
Each of these essential B vitamins contributes to your overall bodily function, but most importantly, are most effective when taken together.
Folic acid and cobalamin (B-9 and B-12) can be difficult for half the population to assimilate as a mutated gene (MTHFR) prevents them from being absorbed.
This is why we have methylated them–for easy assimilation for your body. If you can’t assimilate them, you will simply urinate them out–they do your body no good.
And because most people haven’t had a genetics test to determine whether or not they have the mutated MTHFR gene, making sure B12 and folic acid are both methylated means all will benefit who take it.
It’s also important to note, that the B vitamins are best taken together–that’s why there’s 8 of them–they’re an orchestra. And orchestras always sound better when everyone’s playing together!
The research* shows that B vitamins definitely influence the immune system. But they’re also very useful to help reduce fatigue, boost your mood and help with brain function. Additionally, they help reduce stress and anxiety.
